Book Quartet Bodies

I actually purchased and restored an antique bandsaw specifically for this project.  Not bad for $40

The idea was to be able to saw through the modpodged books easily and with no tearing. 

It took a bit of doing, but ultimately it worked perfectly.

After making the cavities, I replaced the wax paper and modpodged the inside of the books.  Those pages aren't going anywhere. 

On side note, the mess left behind was crazy.
